Hazardous Area Classification (HAC) – Project Announcement

We are proud to announce that we have successfully completed 2nd Phase of the Ignition Hazard Risk Assessment and Management for a major Downstream crude oil treatment facility in Kuwait. This contract was awarded in Q3 2019.

The scope of the project involves Hazardous Area Classification (HAC) and identification of Equipment Protection Level for the non-electrical equipment of the facility in Kuwait. The scope extends to perform an Ignition Hazard Risk Assessment and develop Ignition Hazard Risk Management Plan for non-electrical equipment operating in potentially explosive atmosphere (hazardous areas) as per ISO/IEC 80079 standards.

The remaining stages of the contract will be executed by CAPESERVE’s highly skilled and experienced team of engineers and project managers. Capeserve is targeting to complete the project by early 2021 as per the Client’s project requirement.
